WOTW, also known on-air as "NewsRadio 850 WOTW", is an All-News radio station in Orlando, Florida broadcasting on the AM dial @ 850 kHz. It's owned by WMFL Corporation along with WOTW-TV. It's studios are located in Orlando & it's transmitters are located in Downtown Orlando.

In 1922, it started broadcasting @ the frequency of 1590 kHz. It also received it's current call letters, which stand for O-ToWn (Orlando's Nickname). After the NARBA in 1941, the station went to 850 kHz, where it's still WOTW's current AM dial position

The station has been All-news since 1962. Prior to it's current incarnation, the station had a Middle of the road (MOR)/Personality-based format. The station has been the flagship station of the Orlando Magic since it founded in 1989 & became the flagship station of the new UFL team Florida Tuskers (official name) starting in 2009. WOTW used to be the flagship station of the AFL team Orlando Predators since 1991, until the AFL was shut down & ceased on August 4, 2009. On October 9 2009, WOTW & the new Arena Football 1 League has announced that the Orlando Predators (who will be part of the AF1 League) has signed an agreement to air Predators' games on WOTW starting in 2010 (AFL's Inaugural Season), marking the return of Orlando Predators games on WOTW.

Currently, WOTW regularly programs traffic reports from the "WOTW Channel 9 Eyewitness TrafficWatch HD" Team (powered by Beat the Traffic) every 10 minutes on the "2's" (6 times an hour, updates powered by Beat the Traffic), sports updates every quarter-hour (2 times an hour, @ :15 & :45), weather reports from the "WOTW Severe Weather Center 9 HD" Weather Team as much as 6 times an hour, entertainment news once an hour (@ :38) & business news 2 times an hour (@ :26 & :56). When breaking news warrants, WOTW will break format to provide continuous coverage of any event

850 WOTW is also known for a couple of trademarks. Typically before a commercial break the current on-air personality will claim, “WOTW news time…(current time of day)" (as is standard procedure with every other all-news station O&O by WMFL Corporation). Also after any sort of sports update, the on-air personality will also proudly claim, “you're listening to the home of the Magic, Predators & Tuskers”
