This Week in NASCAR Racing (formerly Inside the NASCAR Nextel Cup), is a 60-minute program that airs Monday nights on The NASCAR Channel. The panel reviews the past weekend's races & get geared up for the NASCAR racing week ahead with informative & historical videos. Each episode tells the stories of the track, region, drivers & offered team perspectives as well as memorable historical races from the track with present & past drivers on hand. Their cameras capture the "behind the scenes" & "show me what I don't already know!" moments, that tell critical, colorful & entertaining race stories

This Week in NASCAR Racing replaced Inside the NASCAR Nextel Cup in 2008. This Week in NASCAR Racing also replaced the NASCAR Sprint Cup race re-cap & analysis show. It moved into a "handoff" position between events, reviewing topical items from previous races in all 3 NASCAR national touring series, while also looking forward to upcoming events
