SCFlorida-2 is a Florida sports broadcasting network, with it's headquarters in the former Nickelodeon Studios @ Universal Studios Florida in Orlando. Launched in 1987 along w/ SCFlorida, the station is now affiliated with most cable companies throughout the state of Florida & can be picked up by some satellite providers around the United States

SCFlorida-2 airs professional, collegiate & high school sporting events. It offers split feeds for the state's regions. Along with sister network SCFlorida, it's the cable home to the NBA's Orlando Magic & Miami Heat, the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning, MLB's Florida Marlins & Tampa Bay Rays & the AFL's Orlando Predators & Tampa Bay Storm. In addition the channel offers baseball, basketball, football & other sporting events from FIU, University of Florida, FSU & the University of Central Florida, though some SCFlorida-2 produced college football games are initially shown on PPV. SCFlorida-2 is also 1 of the few networks outside the New York metro area to carry Rutgers University's coach's show Inside Rutgers Football

Through SCFlorida-2, South & Southwestern Florida (as well as the Florida Keys) can view Miami Heat basketball as Central & Northern Florida can view Orlando Magic basketball. Ultimately however, SCFlorida-2 & SCFlorida are sister channels & games can air on either channel depending on who is playing @ what time (particularly with the Marlins & the Rays, since both teams routinely play @ the same time). The 2 channels do not focus on 1 region of Florida (it was long rumored that SCFlorida-2 would carry only the North/Central Florida teams, while SCFlorida would carry Miami-area teams) so that the Lightning, Heat, Marlins, Magic & Florida Panthers are all cable-exclusive

In a manner similar to SportsChannel's regional feeds, a small logo bug is shown on the top-right corner of the screen. During the non-sports programming & nationally-televised sporting events, the logo is shown as SCFlorida-2, with the word SC colored in blue. During local sporting events, the logo changes to reflect the teams. During Orlando Magic basketball games, the logo reads SCMagic, with the word SC colored in a medium blue. For Miami Heat basketball games, the logo is shown as SCHeat, with SC colored in red; the word Heat also has a flame on the end of the T, which reflects the team's official logo. As for Tampa Bay Lightning hockey games, the logo is SCLighting, with the SC also colored in medium blue. During Tampa Bay Rays baseball games, the logo becomes SCRays, with the SC colored in Columbia blue. And for Florida Marlins baseball games, the logo reads SCMarlins, with SC also colored in Columbia blue. These localized logos also appear during each team's LIVE pre- & post-game shows. The same holds true when the respective games are broadcast on SCFlorida
