It operates out of the studios of WWL-TV.

NewsWatch 15 began in 1988 as a partnership between WWL & COX, which serves parts of the Greater New Orleans area south of Lake Pontchartrain, the Greater Baton Rouge area & the Acadiana region of southwestern Louisiana.

Viewed on cable ch. 15 in the New Orleans area, the network basically rebroadcasts the latest editions of WWL's "Eyewitness News" on the day a viewer is watching, although it also simulcasts live newscasts as well.

Despite the constant rebroadcasting of it's newscasts, WWL has not suffered in it's ratings & continues to be the perennial #1 station in the Crescent City & 1 of the highest rated stations in the country. [1]
