BTV News+ Sunrise is the breakfast TV programme on BTV News+ between 6:00-9:00 AM GMT (1:00-4:00 AM ET) on weekdays & 6:00-10:00 AM GMT (1:00-5:00 AM ET) on weekends. It was first aired in February of 1998 as 1 of BTV News+'s 1st news programmes.

At it's start in February of 1998, the programme ran from 5:00-9:30 AM (12:00-4:30 AM ET). In 1999, it became 1 of only 2 shows to have it's own individual graphics, the other being flagship bulletin BTV News+ LIVE @ 5:00. These graphics were swiftly withdrawn after viewers & staff alike deemed them too gawdy & too "American". The show has used the channel's graphics ever since. It's common however for Sunrise to use a slight variation of some elements, such as in 1997 when Sunrise had it's own variation on the then-title sequence & in 2005 when Sunrise used an individual variation of the BTV News+ globe.

For a short while @ the start of 2007, Sunrise was simulcast on BTV 2 Monday–Friday.

On the 5th of February of 2008 @ 6:00 AM, Sunrise began presenting from a new "multi-purpose" area of the BTV News+ Centre, formally known as the "shoebox". This coincides with the 10th anniversary of BTV News+ & a revamp for the main studio
